Subject: Week 4

Hey Everyone
This weeks been pretty good but super chaotic with the new group of missionaries coming in.

We got to go to this place called Tres Ojos and it was gorgeous. We had some time in between transfers on p-day so our president decided to take us there. Ill send some pics.

Not a whole lot going on but the usual day to day stuff, But we got to go to the beach and contact some people. There weren't that many people around, but we started to talk to this guy Named Pedro and he seemed really excited about reading the Book of Mormon and wanting to learn more. Turned out that he went to the beach to ponder about life and religion, so its pretty sweet being a instrument in the Lords hands!

We were walking back from the beach and we crossed the university to get back to the compound, and a rain shower came out of nowhere, so we ran underneath a balcony for the library. About 50 or so people were there so we decided to talk to this guy wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates hat (by the way, Dominicans are obsessed with baseball) so we started to talk to him about baseball and started to talk to him about his beliefs. We gave him a Book of Mormon and invited him to talk to more missionaries. He seems excited, so that was cool.
So basketball has got super intense here in the MTC. In the new group of missionaries, we got a 6 foot 5 basketball player whose playing D2 somewhere from Canada, and another huge Samoan guy that was a high school starter. Now that we have him, one of the teachers here, whose a college player in the area, plays with us and he brings one of his best friends to play. Things get pretty heated, but its good to have a little competitive action to distract from the day to day drag.

We got to go to the temple today after it being closed for the last 2 weeks. It truly is a blessing in my life. I know La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ulitimos Dias is God's True Church on the Earth and I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he Translated the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and has truely blessed my life, and I Know that Thomas S Monson is the Prophet in our day!
